CH Camanna CS Acapella

Acapella became part of my herd as a three-year-old. She had never been led and to this day, my biggest challenge with her is “walking pretty”. I have humbled myself and taken her in the show ring and tried my best to get her head up and to lead without “dragging and plowing,” but can’t claim success yet. Despite her terrible antics in the show ring, the judges sometimes see past it and have awarded her a grand and several reserve grand championships. If and when we get past this obstacle, I feel Acapella will shine in the show ring. She is one of my shortest does, and is slightly “old style” in that respect, but she has tons of dairy character and is angular and stylish. Like her lovely paternal half sisters, Acapella is also blessed with a wonderful mammary system. This doe produces a lot of milk for being small and only a second freshener. She has one of those wonderful udders that are easy to milk, soft, and empty out quickly and completely. I can’t complain about her attachments, medial division, teat placement, or anything else about her capacious udder. Acapella also has nearly perfect feet and legs and has had the compliments of several judges in that area. Long body, great topline, tight shoulders – Acapella has all of this and more. Watch out for this girl in the showring, if I ever get her to “walk pretty”.
