Introducing the FOX-CAM Valais Blacknose Breed-Up Flock at Camanna’s Petite Paradise!

United by our shared passion for the charming Valais Blacknose breed, a thriving and unique partnership was established:  Foxglove Farm and Camanna’s Petite Paradise.  This extraordinary joint operation is dedicated to the preservation and refinement of this rare and valuable breed.  Foxglove Farm, owned by David and Laura Hagey, is now rooted in Arizona.   We are so thankful that this enterprising couple sparked this breed-up program in the fall of 2016 and later allied with us (Anna and Cameron Brown) in September 2021.

Camanna’s Petite Paradise, a haven of natural beauty and serenity, is the perfect setting to cultivate the distinctiveness and splendor inherent in the Valais Blacknose Sheep.  Our collaboration with Foxglove Farm relies on their wealth of knowledge and seasoned experience in implementing the breed-up program, conducting DNA testing and registration, as well as the necessary fiscal resources to safeguard superior quality genetics.  Anna, endowed with nearly a half century of sheep husbandry knowhow and backed by a master’s degree in Animal Science, and Cameron, formerly a pro sheep shearer who as a teenager worked for several summers at large scale sheep ranch, bring forward their specialized ovine expertise.

As you acquaint yourself with the delightful charm of the FOX-CAM Valais Blacknose breed-up flock at Camanna’s Petite Paradise, be prepared to be captivated by the romantic allure and pastoral elegance that these enchanting animals bring to life. Introducing the FOX-CAM Valais Blacknose Breed-Up Flock at Camanna’s Petite Paradise!
