Come for a little while or stay all afternoon!
Our OPEN FARM days are a chance to slow down, enjoy the beauty of the farm, meet our animals, wander through the flowers and simply spend a few hours enjoying creation together.
Camanna’s Petite Paradise is a family farm in Siletz, Oregon, about 20 minutes from Newport on the central Oregon coast. Our farm is home to around 170–200 animals representing 12 species, along with flower gardens, wooded trails, bridges and plenty of peaceful places to explore.
Everyone is welcome!
Next OPEN FARM
Saturday, October 10, 2026
1:00–4:00 PM
This will be our last OPEN FARM of the 2026 season.
We’re keeping this final OPEN FARM a little more relaxed. If you’ve been meaning to visit—or would just like to come see everyone one more time before we close the farm for the season—we would love to have you.
There will still be plenty of animals to visit, homemade cookies and milk, the prize wheel, our Main Characters of the Farm hunt and opportunities to wander and enjoy the farm. We may add a few simple fall activities as the day gets closer, but this OPEN FARM will be less about a big schedule of special activities and more about one last afternoon together on the farm.
Depending on the weather, there may also be flowers for a small bouquet bar and some of our close-in trails open for an autumn walk.
As always, the animals, weather and farm itself tend to have some say in the final plans!
What Is OPEN FARM?
OPEN FARM began in 2021 as a simple way to share the animals, land and blessings we enjoy here with others. What started small has grown into one of our favorite parts of farm life, and 2026 marks our sixth season of welcoming visitors.
We generally open the farm once a month from May through October, usually on the second Saturday from 1:00–4:00 PM.
There is no set route and no need to rush. Visit the animals, stop to smell the flowers, walk a trail, participate in whatever activities happen to be offered that month, or find a quiet spot and simply enjoy being here.
Every OPEN FARM is a little different because this is a real working farm. There may be newborn lambs or goat kids, piglets, puppies, chicks, flowers in full bloom or a completely different cast of characters waiting to meet you.
Meet the Animals
Animals are a big part of life at Camanna’s Petite Paradise.
Our farm is home to Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, Valais Blacknose sheep, Kunekune pigs, horses, alpacas, a llama, rabbits, Muscovy ducks, chickens, livestock guardian dogs, Pomeranians and barn cats.
We have raised Nigerian Dwarf goats for more than 25 years and also raise Valais Blacknose sheep as part of our breeding program.
During OPEN FARM, many of our animals can be seen up close, although which animals are available for interaction varies from month to month.
We always put the comfort and safety of the animals first. Some animals love attention; others occasionally decide that OPEN FARM would be an excellent time for a nap!
Flowers, Gardens & Trails
There is much more to OPEN FARM than visiting animals.
Our flowers and gardens change throughout the season, and during the summer and early fall our Bouquet Bar often gives visitors a chance to create a small bouquet from flowers grown right here on the farm, while supplies last.
Visitors may also have the opportunity to explore portions of our wooded farm trails, cross some of our many little bridges, enjoy the gardens or find a peaceful place to sit for a while.
Activities change with the seasons, so no two OPEN FARM days are exactly alike.
Fun for All Ages
OPEN FARM is for everyone.
Families with children certainly enjoy it, but you do not need to have children to come visit! We welcome adults, grandparents, animal lovers, flower lovers, photographers, neighbors and anyone who would simply enjoy an afternoon on the farm.
Some people stay for an hour. Others arrive when we open and somehow are still visiting animals when we begin closing gates at 4:00.
Both are perfectly acceptable.
Admission & Donations
There is no required admission fee to attend OPEN FARM.
For those who would like to help support the program, we suggest a donation of $5 per person or $20 per family, but donations are never required.
OPEN FARM is one of the cornerstone programs of Camanna’s Trinity Haven, our nonprofit organization. Donations help us continue offering OPEN FARM days, activities, supplies and outreach to our community.
Before You Visit
Please remember that Camanna’s Petite Paradise is a working family farm, not a commercial attraction.
A few things will make your visit more enjoyable:
-
Wear closed-toe shoes or sturdy footwear
-
Expect a little dirt, grass, gravel and uneven ground
-
Children should remain supervised
-
Please respect signs, fences and closed gates
-
Never feed an animal unless invited to do so
-
Some areas of the farm may be closed depending on weather or farm conditions
For the safety of our animals, please leave pets at home whenever possible.
Oregon Coast weather can change our plans quickly. Rain may limit activities, trail access or the number of areas we can open, so please check our Camanna’s Petite Paradise Facebook page before making a long drive if the weather is questionable.

OPEN FARM Season
OPEN FARM is generally held once a month from May through October, usually on the second Saturday from 1:00–4:00 PM.
Dates and activities can occasionally change because of weather, farm circumstances or animal needs.
After our October OPEN FARM, the farm closes to public visits for the winter while we turn our attention back to the animals, projects and preparations for another season.
Watch for our 2027 OPEN FARM dates next spring!
